The most famous and popular attraction in the town of Martorell is the Devil's bridge, or Pont del Diable.  This medieval bridge crosses the river Llobregat in Martorell, Spain.  The bridge is recognizable for its large pointed arch.  What you see of the bridge today was constructed in 1283 on Roman foundations.

Pont del Diable spans an impressive 37.3 m with a stone chapel at the peak of its arch.  The secondary arches have a span of 19.1 m.  The bridge features a Roman triumphal art at its eastern abutment.  You will have to leave your car hire on the side of the Llobregat to get the view from the center of the bridge, as today the bridge is open only to pedestrians.
